This evergreen orchid sports 12" spikes of waxy, fragrant yellow flowers with red markings on the lip in early summer.

Phaius flavus is an evergreen orchid from southern Japan, China and much of southeast Asia sports twelve inch spikes of showy waxy yellow fragrant flowers with red markings on the lip in early summer. Easy in humusy well-drained soil in shade. Provide a good winter mulch. Also makes a good indoor plant.
