Persicaria ‘Painter’s Palette’
Persicaria virginiana 'Variegata' is a Virginia knotweed with variably variegated leaves with burgundy chevrons.

Persicaria virginiana ‘Painter’s Palette’ is a variegated form of the Virginia knotweed with broad, rounded leaves variably splashed with ivory white and light green overlain with burgundy red chevrons. Every leaf is different. The small, airy, white and green flowers are not particularly ornamental. Plants are beautiful but can spread aggressively by rhizome, especially in rich, moist soils. Plant where you will embrace its spread or where hardscape features will contain it. Also good in pots. Deer resistant.
