Persicaria filiformis ‘Painter’s Palette’

This unusual, but stunningly beautiful, perennial is adorned with wonderfully patterned 3″ oval leaves that are green with a black chevron mark extending from side to side and overlain with a white-and-pink sector toward the tip. In late summer, plants are topped with airy stalks of tiny red beads. May self sow but not invasive. Moist soils are best though this plant is drought tolerant.
