Penstemon digitalis ‘Husker Red’
A Penstemon much loved for its fabulous early foliage that comes in a deep plummy colour that goes wonderfully with any lime-green foliage. Good combined with Hemerocallis ‘Gentle Shepherd’ for a long run of interest. Selected by the Perennial Plant Association as Perennial Plant of the Year 1996. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
