Penstemon digitalis ‘Goldfinger’

Penstemon 'Goldfinger' is a beardtongue with lavender-white flowers speckled in purple and chartreuse-red foliage.

Penstemon ‘Goldfinger’ is a new introduction to the cold-hardy, low-maintenance beardtongue. This unique cultivar brings vibrance to the garden with young foliage appearing as golden to lime-green edged with dark red before turning a darker green. Dark red stems hold panicles of delicate pale lavender to white tubular flowers with purple speckles. Growth habit 20 to 30 inches tall with a 12 to 20 inch spread. Great for vertical and aesthetic appeal in mixed beds, cottage and rock gardens. Plant in drifts for impressive displays! Hummingbird and pollinator magnet. Deer resistant.
