Penstemon barbatus ‘Coral Baby’
Penstemon barbatus 'Coral Baby' has glowing, intense, coral-pink, tubular flowers continuously from mid spring until frost on long-lived plants!
Penstemon barbatus is a strong species known as southwestern Penstemon. It has good overwintering success in coastal BC and cold climates unlike many hybrid beard tongues. ‘Coral Baby’ is a special selection with glowing, intense, coral-pink, tubular flowers produced continuously from mid spring until frost! The hummers will be drunk with their appreciation as will the bees and butterflies. Bright green foliage sets off the flowers. Full sun and well-drained soil.
