Penstemon barbatus is a strong, long-lived, cold-hardy beard tongue. ‘Pink Pearls’, from the Bejeweled series, has large, brilliant pink, tubular flowers on strong, densely-held stems produced above bright blue-green foliage. Use at the front of the border, in mass plantings, in rock gardens, and as a cut flower. Drought tolerant once established. Attracts hummingbirds and bees. Deer resistant.
