Panicum virgatum ‘Shenandoah’

Panicum virgatum 'Shenandoah' has strongly upright steely blue foliage with burgundy red highlights.

One of our favourite grasses, Panicum virgatum ‘Shenandoah’ has strongly upright steely blue foliage throughout the season with hints of burgundy red. The airy flowers create a great cloud of pink and blue atop the columnar grass in summer. Then in fall, the burgundy tints deepen and spread throughout the foliage creating a great late summer and fall display.
