Panicum virgatum ‘RR1’ Ruby Ribbons
This hybrid of P. ‘Heavy Metal’ and P. ‘Hans Herme’ has foliage that emerges a blue-grey in spring, continually working up to deeper hues of ruby-red from mid summer into autumn. Upright habit reaches two to three feet in full sun. The flower spikes appear in late summer and persist into winter.
