Paeonia Itoh ‘Sonoma Yedo’
Paeonia 'Sonoma Yedo' is a fully double Itoh peony with butter yellow flowers.
Paeonia ‘Sonoma Yedo’ is a fully double Itoh peony with butter yellow flowers, the outer petals fading a bit at the tips as the flowers age to a creamy white. Itoh peonies are intersectional hybrids between tree peonies (P. suffruticosa) and garden peonies (P. lactiflora) making outstanding herbaceous perennials with huge flowers in many unusual colours. A mature plant can have over 50 blooms! The foliage is like a tree peony and emerges rich red, gradually turning green.
