Paeonia Itoh ‘Prairie Charm’
Paeonia 'Prairie Charm' has yellow petals with a flush of scarlet at the centre.
Paeonia ‘Prairie Charm’ is a multi-award winner bearing medium-sized, semi-double, lemony-yellow petals with a flush of scarlet at the centre. Lightly fragrant. Can reach 24-36 inches high and 36-48 inches wide. Itoh peonies are intersectional hybrids between tree peonies (P. suffruticosa) and garden peonies (P. lactiflora) making outstanding herbaceous perennials with huge flowers in many unusual colours. A mature plant can have over 50 blooms! The foliage is like a tree peony and emerges rich red, gradually turning green.
