Paeonia Itoh ‘New Millennium’
Paeonia 'New Millennium' has coral pink flowers with cream streaks or flushes. Itohs are exciting crosses between tree and garden peonies.
Paeonia ‘New Millennium’ offers coral pink, semi-double blooms highlighted with flushes or streaks of cream running through the ruffled and notched petals all around yellow centres. Growth habit is 30 – 36 inches in height and spread. Itoh peonies are intersectional hybrids between tree peonies (P. suffruticosa) and garden peonies (P. lactiflora) making outstanding herbaceous perennials with huge flowers in many unusual colours. A mature plant can have over 50 blooms! The foliage is like a tree peony and emerges rich red, gradually turning green.
