Paeonia Itoh ‘Joanna Marlene’
Paeonia 'Joanna Marlene' is one of the most dynamic Itoh peonies with flowers changing through tones of pink, apricot, yellow, and cream.
The blooms of Paeonia ‘Joanna Marlene’ are some of the most dynamic of the Itoh peonies with flower petals changing from pink to apricot to yellow to cream as they age. Itoh peonies are intersectional hybrids between tree peonies (P. suffruticosa) and garden peonies (P. lactiflora) making outstanding herbaceous perennials with huge flowers in many unusual colours. A mature plant can have over 50 blooms! The foliage is like a tree peony and emerges rich red, gradually turning green.
