Paeonia Itoh ‘Caroline Constabel’
The blooms of Paeonia 'Caroline Constabel' are pink to salmon pink with dark centres. Itohs are exciting crosses between tree and garden peonies.
The blooms of Paeonia ‘Caroline Constabel’ are big, full double peony bombs of pink to salmon pink with dark centres. Itoh peonies are intersectional hybrids between tree peonies (P. suffruticosa) and garden peonies (P. lactiflora) making outstanding herbaceous perennials with huge flowers in many unusual colours. A mature plant can have over 50 blooms! The foliage is like a tree peony and emerges rich red, gradually turning green.
