Oxalis rubifolia ‘Purple Dress’

‘Purple Dress’ forms a lovely mound of burgundy-infused, shamrock foliage topped by bright pink flowers with yellow throats. The display is a perfect combination of contrasting colours. This oxalis arises from bulbs. They may go dormant in the heat of summer but will either re-emerge in the fall or the next spring. Use as an early spring annual, a house or container plant. Hardy in our area, it will not like the winter wet. Best to put the container in a shed or garage for the cold months.
