Orostachys ‘Chinese Hat’ is a succulent hybrid that forms succulent rosettes of pale silver/grey foliage with yellow flowers.

Orostachys ‘Chinese Hat’ commonly known as Dunce’s Cap, is a curious little succulent, closely related to Sedum and Sempervivum with rosettes of pale silver/grey leaves. Grows to 6 inches tall with a 12 inch spread. Flowers form yellow spikes that poke up from the rosettes forming a cone shape. Use in borders, containers, and rockeries. Can survive winter in protected sites especially with overhead protection from hard frost and winter rain. Dormant in winter months.
