'San Juan Grey' is a hybrid of Opuntia fragilis and O. erinacea with grey-green, flattened pads with short black & grey spines.

‘San Juan Grey’ is a hybrid of Opuntia fragilis and O. erinacea selected from a hybrid swarm near Moab, Utah by our friends at Cistus Nursery. This form has distinctly grey-green, slightly flattened pads with short orange spines that age to black and grey accented with warm yellow flowers. Plant in full sun in sharply draining soil.
