Olea europaea ‘Sevillano’

Olea europaea 'Sevillano' is a beautiful cultivar and one of the most important for the production of table olives.

Olea europaea ‘Sevillano’ is a beautiful olive cultivar with small, narrow, dark green leaves that create a willowy, airy textural effect. Trees will form an open, graceful canopy and an ornamental gnarled trunk with time. The fruit produces large olives that are usually aged to black. They have a low to moderate oil content and are best suited for table olives. One of the most commonly grown commercial varieties. Cold and drought tolerant. Self-fertile but will produce more fruit in the presence of another pollenizer like ‘Frantoio’, ‘Leccino’, ‘Pendolino’, ‘Manzanillo’, or ‘Arbequina’. For the 2025 Citrus Pre-Order these trees are in 5 gallon pots and 5-6 feet high. They cannot be shipped via Canada Post or FedEx. Available only for pick-up or for courier or freight shipping.
