Ocimum basilicum Various Cultivars

Basils are one of the most popular herbs used fresh or dried in a wide variety of dishes. Bushy upright plants have aromatic, shiny foliage in a variety of shapes, colours and flavours. Each year we carry 10-15 different basils. Plant in a warm, well-drained site. Remove flower heads promptly to keep the plant producing foliage. Can be grown indoors on a windowsill. Though enticing, don’t grow basils outside until around May 15 as soils and night time temperatures will be too low.
