Nandina domestica ‘Seika’ Obsession

Nandina 'Seika' Obession has firey red new growth that lights up the garden.

Obsession `SEIKA` is a sport of ‘Gulf Stream’ but has bright red coloured young foliage that is retained for a long period while the plant is actively growing. The mature foliage is deep green in colour and develops red winter tints during the cold months. ‘SEIKA’ means “sacred fire” in Japanese and was given. Heavenly bamboo are not bamboo at all but well-behaved, non-spreading, versatile, evergreen shrubs that can be planted from part shade to full sun.
