Muhlenbergia reverchonii ‘Undaunted’, known as ruby muhly grass, forms dense tufts of slender stems and foliage offering wonderful texture to the garden. But in late summer and fall the display dazzles with amazing clouds of bright red to pinkish panicles. Plant in full sun in hot locations to encourage the best flowering. Mass plant or repeat it throughout your border. The dried flower stems provide good winter interest. Deer resistant.
