Monarda Sugar Buzz ‘Berry Taffy’ is a beebalm with hot raspberry pink flowers throughout summer held above the highly mildew resistant, dark green foliage with a compact, upright, mounding habit. The Sugar Buzz series offers short, compact plants for the front and middle of the border that are smothered in long-lasting flowers. The flowers’ sweet nectar attracts scores of hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to the garden. The aromatic foliage smells like mint when crushed and can be used to make herbal tea.
