Miscanthus sinensis ‘Serengeti’
Miscanthus sinensis 'Serengeti' is dwarf maiden grass with copper inflorescences and green-white to maroon foliage.

Miscanthus sinensis ‘Serengeti’ is a graceful ornamental dwarf maiden or flame grass offering a menagerie of colour all season long. New foliage is variegated green and white maturing to shades of purple and red. Vibrant red shoots emerge in spring that rise to display coppery flower panicles that bloom from July well into Fall. Great architectural foliage for border movement and interest. Miscanthus are one of the best grasses for year-round beauty. New green shoots in the spring become tall linear leaves that form an elegant clump by midsummer. Attractive flowers emerge in late summer. In winter the leaves turn straw colour.
