Medinilla ‘Gregori Hambali’ is an intriguing tropical plant from southeast Asia with large, pleated, silvery green leaves with beautiful reddish pink undersides. The cute pink flowers are produced along the stems. Medinilla are semi-epiphytic plants so plant them in clay pots with a free-draining, chunky, porous mix with lots of bark and sphagnum moss and let them dry out between waterings. Grow it in bright indirect light in the house and outdoors in summer in a shady position.
