Malus ‘Hidden Rose’/’Airlie Red Flesh’ (Red Flesh) – An amazing red fleshed apple, this recently discovered cultivar may be the best of all red fleshed varieties and, indeed, would be an outstandingly delicious apple no matter the colour of the flesh. ‘Hidden Rose’ has a beautiful yellow skin with pale whitish dots. The flesh is deep rose-red, juicy, crisp, firm, sugary, and richly flavoured. Ripens late (October) and keeps well throughout the winter. Rootstock: M.7 (Semi-Dwarf).
