Maianthemum stellatum 'Blue Dune' is a special form with very attractive bluish green leaves.

Maianthemum stellatum is a lovely rhizomatous perennial that forms upright and slightly arching stems with lance-shaped green leaves and small, terminal clusters of star-like white flowers in spring. It is native to much of North America (including BC) except for the US southeast. ‘Blue Dune’ is a special form with very attractive bluish green leaves that makes an effective and beautiful groundcover from part sun to full shade. Plants may develop red berries by fall. Formerly known as Smilacina stellata.
