Mahonia x media ‘Winter Sun’
An excellent, evergreen shrub with green, holly-like leaves, textured bark, and spikes of glowing yellow, fragrant flowers.

Mahonia ‘Winter Sun’ grows into a stately, evergreen shrub with gorgeous, textured and furrowed bark, evergreen, pinnate leaves with segments that look like holly leaves and glowing, fragrant, yellow flowers produced on spikes clustered together at the tops of the branches like upside down octopus limbs in December. The flowers are followed by blue fruit. New growth emerges glowing salmon-red in spring.
