'Black Tulip' has some of the darkest flowers of any Magnolia.

‘Black Tulip’ has some of the darkest flowers of any Magnolia. The deep purple buds open to rounded, tulip-like flowers of deep burgundy-red with thick, strong petals. This magnolia hybrid blooms even when quite young and puts out great displays each year. Small and compact, ‘Black Tulip’ would be perfect for city gardens. For the 2024 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be in 1g pots and about 1-2 feet tall.
