Magnolia 'Vulcan' has spectacular ruby-red flowers up to an incredible 10-12 inches across.
‘Vulcan’ has spectacular ruby-red to fuchsia flowers up to an incredible 10-12 inches across. This magnolia is one of the darkest reds and has a subtle white frosting on some of the petals. When young it is erect and open but becomes rounder with age. The attractive winter buds sport a protective brownish gray ‘fur’. For the 2024 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be in 1g pots and about 1-2 feet tall.
