Magnolia laevifolia 'Inspiration' is a compact form with evergreen leaves and white, lemon-scented blooms in early spring.

‘Inspiration’ is a smaller form of Magnolia laevifolia (syn. Michelia yunnanensis) with an upright dense habit. It has the deep green, evergreen, lustrous oval pointed leaves of the species and white, lemon-scented blooms about 3-4 inches across in early spring.
