Lycoris aurea has showy, yellow, spidery flowers in fall followed by strap-like foliage.

Lycoris aurea is a rare amaryllis relative that has showy, yellow, spider-like flowers in late summer or autumn with strap like foliage 2 inches wide that emerges after the flowers fade. It is the largest Lycoris in all respects. Lycoris resent disturbance and can take a little time to start blooming again after planting.
