Lychnis viscaria Snow Cloud
Lychnis viscaria Snow Cloud is a long-blooming campion with masses of single white flowers supported on thin green stems.

Lychnis viscaria Snow Cloud, commonly know as the clammy campion or the sticky catchfly, is a compact, tufted to mat-forming perennial that produces masses of single white flowers that seem to float on air, discretely supported by its thin and strong, well branched, upright stems. The blooming period is long, from May to August, making it an essential for the garden and container. The sticky stems, thought to thwart damage by insects such as ants, will reach 16 inches high on plants 12 inches wide. Use in beds and borders, along pathways, in the cottage, wildflower, and dry gardens, and in containers and the vase. Pollinator attractor, especially butterflies and bumblebees.
