Lupinus latifolius is known as the broadleaf lupine. It is native to western North America from southern BC south to New Mexico and Baja California. It can be quite variable across its range growing from just one foot tall up to four feet tall! It has classic semi-open spikes of purple-blue and white flowers atop rich green, palmate foliage.
