Loropetalum chinensis ‘Jazz Hands Variegated’ is a Chinese witch hazel with fantastic multi-coloured new foliage of pinks and whites gradually maturing to purple. Fragrant pink, spider-like flowers emerge in late winter through spring on a vigorous, graceful mounding form that grows 3-6 feet tall and wide. Blooms on old wood. Use in the border, as a mass planting, and in containers. Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil in a protected location. Low maintenance.
