Liriope muscari ‘Variegata’ is a lilyturf with tufted, evergreen, grass-like, arching, medium green leaves (to 1″ wide) which are variegated with creamy yellow margins. Clumps slowly expand by short stolons but are not invasive. Short spikes of tightly packed lilac-purple flower rise just above the leaves in late summer which are followed by blackish berries.
