Liriope muscari ‘Royal Purple’

Lirope muscari 'Royal Purple' is an evergreen lilyturf with green grass-like foliage and spikes of dark purple flowers.

Lirope muscari ‘Royal Purple’ is an easy care, evergreen lilyturf displaying clumps of dark green grass-like foliage. Clumps slowly expand by short stolons but are not invasive. Tall spikes of tightly packed dark purple flowers rise above the foliage in late summer on plants 8-18 inches tall and wide. Low maintenance and tolerant of most soil types, heat and humidity. Versatile in the garden adding colour, height, texture and movement, as a ground cover, lawn alternative with low foot tolerance, erosion control, in mass plantings, along pathways, edging borders, containers and cut flowers. Deer resistant.
