Lilium (Trumpet) regale

Lilium regale is a trumpet lily with tall stems and fragrant, pure white blooms, golden-yellow centres and dark pink stripes.

The exquisite trumpets of Lilium regale arrive on the scene in mid to late July just before the spicy Oriental lilies in August (which you should also have in your garden). They provide dramatic height and fragrance with vertical stems that can rise up and between existing perennials allowing you to layer extra colour and fragrance into your border and containers. Regal lily is an award winner with abundant, pure white, six inch long, outward-facing trumpets with golden throats and dramatic dark pink to purple streaks on the reverses. The fragrance is strong and sweet. Excellent in the border, containers and the vase.
