Lilium (Oriental) ‘Golden Stargazer’
Lilium 'Golden Stargazer' has huge, buttery yellow, fragrant flowers on tall stems.
Officially this oriental lily, ‘Golden Stargazer’, is supposed to grow to three feet. I beg to differ. After three years in my garden my clump of three bulbs has grown into giants and last year topped off at eight feet tall, each holding at least 15 huge eight inch diameter buttery yellow, sweetly fragrant flowers. For a similar effect plant in rich well drained soil in full sun. Best in groups of three to five for a dramatic visual and olfactory experience.
