Lilium martagon ‘New Yellow’
Lilium martagon 'New Yellow' has turks cap-type flowers that are lemon yellow with a small number of burgundy spots.
The martagon is a classic woodland lily with small, delicate, pendant flowers with recurved petals. Lilium martagon ‘New Yellow’ is so new it doesn’t yet have a cultivar name. Its flowers are lemon yellow with a small number of burgundy spots. It will likely grow taller and more vigorously than L. martagon ‘Album’. Great in a part shade or the woodland garden rising above Hosta, Arisaema and Brunnera. Some martagon lilies will take a “year off” especially in the year after being first planted. Dig down carefully to investigate before fretting.
