Lilium (Asiatic) ‘Stracciatella Event’

Lilium 'Stracciatella Event' is an Asiatic lily with large, white petals with boldly banded and speckled burgundy centres.

Lilium ‘Stracciatella Event’ is nothing short of wow – a dessert for the eyes! An Asiatic lily that blooms from early to mid-summer with eye-popping, five inch wide flowers of creamy white petals and tips that host contrasting bands and speckles of dark burgundy on stems 42-48 inches tall. Flowers are recurved and slightly pendant. Spectacular in the border, containers and as cut flowers. For best displays, plant 3 or more bulbs together. Easy to grow. Keep the roots cool and moist during the growing season. Remove developing seed pods after flowering to focus resources back into the bulb. Allow leaves to yellow in the fall before removing stems. Pollinator friendly.
