Lilium 'Nightrider' is a stunning burgundy-black hybrid with shiny, leathery petals that seem to swallow the light.

Lilium ‘Nightrider’ is a stunning burgundy-black hybrid with shiny, leathery petals that seem to swallow the light. It is a Trumpet and Asiatic cross with upward or outward facing flowers blooming in late June. Stems will grow to at least four feet, perhaps taller. For best displays, plant 3 or more bulbs together. Easy to grow. Keep the roots cool and moist during the growing season. Remove developing seed pods after flowering to focus resources back into the bulb. Allow leaves to yellow in the fall before removing stems. Pollinator friendly.
