Liatris spicata Floristan White
An excellent late summer vertical of longlasting white fluffy flowerheads on a dense spike. Interestingly, flowers begin to bloom from the top of the spike and open towards the bottom. The foliage is linear and lance-like. Lovely as a cut flower. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
