Its exceptionally 4 feet tall flower stalks make up more than half the plants total height with its lavender-purple fuzzy, flower spikes that begin blooming at the top opening downwards. Robust mounds of dark foliage serve as the base. Tolerant of poor, moist, and clay soils, drought, heat, and humidity. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
