Lavandula stoechas x pedunculata ‘The Princess’

Lavandula 'Ghostly Princess' exhibits vivid electric pink flowers with long top 'wings' rising over aromatic silver/green foliage.

This lovely French lavender (Lavandula pedunculata) is called ‘The Princess’. It has lovely grey-green foliage but its best quality is the flowers which are produced in masses over a long period from late spring through summer. The stacked purple-pink flowers are topped with flaring, vivid, electric pink “wings” veined with darker pink. It’s quite the show for border or container. Shear lightly after flowering and in early spring. Grow in thin soils in hot spots.
