Lavandula stoechas ‘Otto Quast’

This popular selection forms a dense shrub with grey-green foliage. The flower stems bear tight flower spikes of small purple flowers crowned by several one inch long magenta purple petal-like bracts that look like butterflies. ‘Otto Quast’ has a long bloom period from late spring through to fall. Shear lavenders lightly in early spring just as they begin growth and again after flowering to keep tidy.
