Lavandula stoechas Madrid ‘Lavish Pink’

Lavandula stoechas Madrid 'Lavish Pink' is a Spanish lavender with deep pink flowers and light pink "wings".

Lavandula stoechas Madrid ‘Lavish Pink’ is a unique, free-flowering Spanish lavender that is well-branched with fragrant gray-blue foliage providing a beautiful mound for its short strong stems supporting dark pink flowers and large, airy light pink flower bracts with an unusual “bunny rabbit ears” style fluttering above the flower clusters. Growth habit is 12 to 18 inches tall and 16 to 20 inches wide. The Madrid series has large double pink flower bracts on short strong stems over scented gray foliage. Spanish lavender is less hardy than the English lavenders but begins to bloom very early in the season and can keep on blooming for months. Perfect at the border, pollinator garden, informal hedging and in containers. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
