Lamium maculatum ‘Purple Dragon’ is a spotted dead nettle that’s perfect for the shady garden. Gorgeous heart-shaped foliage is silver with green margins. Larger hooded flowers of magenta-purple appear in spring and continue on and off until fall. Fairly tolerant of dry shade once established spreading to 6 inches high by 12-24 inches wide. Great in beds, border edges, containers, and as a ground cover and underplanting for trees and shrubs. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
