Lamium maculatum ‘Beacon Silver’ is a spotted dead nettle that’s perfect for the shady garden. Gorgeous heart-shaped, semi-evergreen foliage is silver with narrow green margins. Small, hooded lavender flowers emerge in late spring in attractive whorls and continue on and off until fall. Fairly tolerant of dry shade once established. Growth habit is 6 to 8 inches tall with a 12 to 24 inch spread. Great in beds, border edges, containers, and as a ground cover and underplanting for trees and shrubs. Virtually disease and pest free. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
