Lagerstroemia Barista 'Peppermint Mocha' is a small dense shrub with dark green foliage and clusters of rosy pink, subtropical-looking flowers.

‘Peppermint Mocha’ is a small, dense shrub with dark green foliage and clusters of rosy pink, subtropical-looking flowers. One of the most floriferous cultivar of the series! Lagerstroemia are classic shrubs and trees of the US southeast. The Barista Collection of crape myrtles are hardy cultivars to zone 6. Where they have been tested in Michigan they die back to the ground in winter and bloom on new wood in late summer. On the west coast they will not die back but they will need to be planted in a hot spot to bring them into flower.
