Red hot pokers provide visual height and appeal to the garden. Use in the border, as a specimen, focal point and as cut flowers. Prefers hot and dry conditions, but needs watering when blooming. Drought tolerant once established. Popular with hummingbirds and other pollinators. Deer and rabbit resistant. Hardy to zone 5b.
